I called last minute for a 10in carrot cake I needed the same day. They didn't have any in stock and they managed to get it made for me SAME DAY needless to say they SAVED me and a 76 year old will be extremely happy for her birthday. Amazing service and definitely amazing cakes.. I get the strawberry every year for my birthday to treat myself 10/10 thanks again.

If you are looking for a bakery that makes everything AND every detail from scratch from traditional recipes, look no further! The carrot cake with cream cheese frosting is amazing! The German chocolate cake is just how it should be made! The cookies are so delicious. Made to order cakes with edible images have always turned out great with family photos we bring in the this bakery puts on top of the cake! WE ORDERED A DESSERT PLATTER FOR CHRISTMAS THAT INCLUDED SLMOST DVERY KIND OF TREAT POSSIBLE.... And It Was Amazing!! King cakes are fabulous for Mardi Gras too!! You won't be disappointed buying anything from Ambrosia!

If you want a king cake or wedding cake or pie or cookies, this is the place. Or really anything sweet. They are super sweet in there. Your cakes can be ordered online ahead of time and await your arrival for pick up. I ate my goodies before taking pictures but it was all good. No fake chemical taste in any of the cake pieces I bought. The cake balls were great. The cookies were great. The lemon squares were great. You get the point-it was all fantastic.

Ambrosia is truly a Baton Rouge staple. I've ordered just about every birthday cake over the last 8 years from them. The quality and taste is consistent. The ordering process for custom cakes is really seamless! And they can create just about anything you like. They also made my wedding cake 3 years ago! I will be a life long customer. If you haven't experienced Ambrosia, definitely try their signature strawberry cake! It's top tier for sure!

How can you not like this place. Every time I walk out of the cake palace. I have a smile. The service is very professional and they're eager to assist. I usually walk out with more than I went in for. :)

Stopped in today and the jambalaya quesadilla was incredible. Haven't tried my baked goods yet but grabbed a few for the road. Can't wait to make my way though the menu.

A dessert lover's heaven.. myself included! From doughnuts to cake pops to cannolis to bread, Ambrosia literally has it all, and you don't even need to order ahead because all of this was in the case! Right on Siegen, this is the perfect location for a bakery in my opinion. It is a huge building with plenty of parking, and you can see it clearly from the street unlike most bakeries. I went at 8:30am on Saturday, and there were customers! I didn't wait in a line because they were tons of employees working, which I really liked. I just wanted to pick up some late Valentines treats for some friends, so I just wanted a treat box. Everything was displayed perfectly and prices were easily read. Again, so many options to pick from. I ended up going with this huge brownie thing, two cookies, two cake pops, and a cream puff. I thought I was going to break the bank, but man I was wrong. All of this was under $20 and was ready when I was done deciding what I want. I was so pleasantly surprised. They also had treats displayed around the store if you didn't want to pick out of the case. For wedding cakes, they have their own part of the store! They did a really good job organizing this bakery and making room for everything. I will totally be back with an empty stomach haha.

Food, service, ambiance...Ambrosia Bakery delivers it all! This place has been my go-to for years. No matter where I am in the city, I will travel to Ambrosia for a sweet treat. For every birthday and special event, an Ambrosia cake has been on our table. They treat me so kindly when I come through the doors and when they aren't busy (which is rare) they always make time to chat. Their cake squares are ADDICTIVE! 10/10 recommend !
